Offer states to buy a Kodak Easyshare ESP-3 Printer and 3 black and 2 color ink cartridges and receive a $40.00 money off at checkout. This is not accurate. No money off taken. Kodak website does this offer without conundrum but charges for shipping. Hopefully Amazon.com will right or hello Kodak.com.
Take my advice: avoid this printer if you use Windows ME as it will not install on those computers. Nowhere did I see technical information on Amazon about needing to use Windows XP to install the printer. (Don’t recognize why with the intention of must be a factor for a printer, anyway.). Only as I was installing it it did say to download the Win ME software, so I did. It wouldn’t install, instead giving messages like “previously installed software, click here” and after 45 clicks I understood nothing was happening so I cancelled out of the install process. I’m going to produce the printer to a friend who has XP. Not value the time and distress. Find a further brand printer…and make sure it’ll work on Win ME!
It’s about time and amazon has got the preeminent price on all the Kodak ESP-3 models any place, (I checked). The beat thing was the amount of “INK” it ususlKodak 1629054 ESP-3 Easyshare All In One Printer (1629054) and is low-cost! With the intention of’s is fantastic!
I bought this printer because I needed to do loads of copies for some legal reasons. I also scrapbook and thought it would be wonderful for this! But I have been exceptionally disappointed with this plastic piece of junk. I have had to email Kodak every day since I got it with a new conundrum. The scanner function has never worked. This product will be returned and I will never buy a Kodak product again. Not even value one star.
The printer really DOES print lab-quality 4×6’s and full-size prints, provided you buy the recommended paper for it.
Text is very astute, even if it is slightly not-as-astute on low-cost paper. The Kodak Ultimate paper has a very smooth end to it, compared to other 24lb 98 whiteness papers, and when coupled with the printer produces exceptionally astute text, comparable to a laser printer, in my opinion. I haven’t kept track of how loads of things with the intention of I have printed thus far, but the longevity of the inks is far greater than any printer with the intention of I’ve ever had.
In my experience I haven’t had any paper jams or hardware errors, even if I did have a conundrum with the print head after about 4 or 5 months where prints lost their sharpness and colors looked muddy. A quick call to Kodak and they sent out a new print head along with a set of new ink tanks. So far (It’s been 5 months) I haven’t had any problems with image quality degradation since the print head replacement.
